OTIRHUE CHARGES STAFF TO BE MORE COMMITTED TO WORK

Over nine hundred staff of the Delta State Unified Local Government Service have been invited for the January 2022 series of promotion interview.
Speaking during the exercise, the Chairman of the Delta State Local Government Service Commission, Hon. Dcn. Joseph Otirhue, told staff of the Unified Local Government Service to take their jobs seriously, as they are paid for being employed.
Speaking further, Otirhue urged staff to be more disciplined and they were to respect the constituted authority of the Delta State Local Government Service. The Chairman added that,staff were employed to carry out services that will improve the development and growth of the Government.
Furthermore, the Commission Boss said that officers were subjected to answer oral questions pertaining to their various fields adding that some of the staff have been subjected to undertake written interviews.
Some of the staff who spoke during the event, described the Commission Chairman as good, hardworking and a God fearing man.
During the exercise, thorough investigation of certificates was done to fish out fake documents and to ascertain those worthy of promotion.
